1.MELTED BEADS CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS: Melted Bead Ornaments are a perfect Christmas Activity for Kids.

These melted bead ornaments are easy to make. Using plastic pony beads and cookie-cutter shapes, you can make beautiful patterns, sun catchers, or anything you like! This weekend my daughter and I created Melted Bead Ornaments for our Christmas decorations.

Supplies needed to make this beautiful Ornament: plastic pony beads, metal cookie cutters, baking sheets, and an oven.

STEPS TO MAKE THESE ORNAMENTS:

Preheat your oven to 380 degrees. To make the ornaments, first lay the metal cookie cutters on the baking sheet then fill with one layer of plastic pony beads.

Tip: Carefully check over each to make sure there is only one layer of beads. More than one layer will make the ornaments bumpy as they melt. You can either melt these in your oven or in an outside grill, whatever you prefer.

Place the baking sheet with the bead-filled cookie cutters into a 380degree oven for 20 minutes.

You’ll want to keep an eye on them to be sure. If they look flat and melted, you can take your ornament out.

Allow the ornaments to cool completely then pop them out of the cookie cutter.

Attach a loop for hanging, and they are ready for the tree!

I love how the bright melted bead ornaments add pops of color to our Christmas tree. Nothing’s better than making your own Christmas Ornaments and they are so lovely for gifting to friends and family.
