Do you love making pretty things out of waste? Check out this simple DIY candle holder tutorial. This should make an absolutely stunning table piece for your Diwali decor as well! I loved how it turned out and they are super simple to make.
Materials you will need:
- Empty cardboard tubes.
- Gloden spray paint
- Candle or tealight candles
- Scissors and hot glue
Take your empty cardboard tube and press it to make it flat. now cut them in small sections,

Once you collect all pieces now spray paint with golden paint. allow it to dry.

Once dried, Using a small piece of string put all pieces in and tie at the end. arrange all the pieces now place some pretty tealight candle and you are done.

Don’t they look pretty? Try it out – we now have beautiful lamps to celebrate this festival of lights. These lovely lamps are also a great addition to any decoration or special occasion.
Beautiful Diwali Paper Diyas Craft:
This paper Diya could be a very fun-filled activity for kids this Diwali. These are so easy to make and can pretty up any decoration.

Materials you will need:
- Glitter paper sheet or cardstock paper( colors of your choice)
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Washi tape
Fold your sheet in half then again fold it in half cut 2-inch strips from a sheet of paper. We cut strips along the shorter edge.
Start making small accordion-style folds along its longer edge

Repeat the same steps until you reach the end. Now bring the other end together and stick the two ends using washi tape.
Cut out a flame shape and glue it on your Diya.

You can glue these Paper Diyas on a string and hang them on your front door. Or you can simply use these as wall decor or even as gift tags. Hope you like this beautiful Diwali craft.


Flower Candle Lamps:
These lovely Candleholders are a great addition to any decor and so easy to make. You might have all the supplies at home to make your own.
Materials you will need:
- Empty cardboard tubes
- Acrylic paints and paintbrush
- Scissors
- Hot glue
- Tealight candles
Take your empty cardboard tube and press it to make it flat. now cut them into small sections.

Now paint these in different colors and allow them to dry.

Fold these colored pieces in mid it will form a petal shape.

Place a tealight candle in the center and start gluing on the side.

Put a tealight candle in the lamp and light up your house to celebrate the special day.

Cupcake liner String lights:
This DIY is the easiest one if you have some extra cupcake liners at home you can simply make this light decoration just in few minutes.
Materials you will need:
- Cupcake liners or you can use small cups
- String light
Create a string of Garden lights by popping a light bulb into a cupcake liner. If you want you can add some glitter stickers on your liner to make them look more beautiful.

People light up Diya (a small lamp made of clay) around their homes for Diwali. Here is a fun way for you and your little one to create your own Diya for Diwali.

Materials Needed:
- Small beads, gem stickers for decoration
- Air Clay or Playdough
- Paint or markers
- Tealight candle
Roll out the air clay or play dough to make it smooth. Press it in the center to make space to put a Candle inside

Add small beads for decoration. Allow the clay to dry overnight.

Once dry, paint the Diya for added decoration. Add the candle to the Diya and Lightup on Diwali night.
