Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, and Kids are excited about costumes and trick-or-treat. Halloween might look different this year, that doesn’t mean it should be boring. With a little creativity, you can still have a spooky time without putting your health or the health of others at risk. Here is a list of Halloween party games ideas for kids that use items you already have or fun games to just play at home on Halloween.

HALLOWEEN FACE PAINTING:
Who doesn’t love getting their faces painted? Dress up as your favorite hero or cartoon character with the paint set for all ages. They make excellent themes for your party.

DIY HALLOWEEN CRAFT IDEAS:
Save your cans and toilet paper rolls either paint them or cover them with Halloween themed scrapbook paper them into a FRANKENSTEIN or Ghost.

DIY HALLOWEEN COOKIE DECORATING:
Who says Halloween is all about candy? Decorating Cookies or Cupcakes is always fun! All you need is icing, Halloween sprinkles, and some edible eyeballs to get the party started! You’ll have both an activity and a Yummy dessert.

There’s certainly no shortage of Halloween movies. From Family-Friendly classics (Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Monsters Inc., Hocus pocus) to horror flicks (Halloween) there’s is something for everyone. Swap your popcorn for candy corn the Movie begin.

DECORATE YOUR HOUSE
Choose either cute or a spooky theme to the decor. CHECK OUT THIS TUTORIAL WE CREATED –HALLOWEEN DECOR. They are simple to create, and it takes very little time to create a window full of these creatures of the night. Use black construction paper and a pair of scissors to create Halloween theme cutouts, and then use clear tape to attach them to your window in any pattern you like. You can even include a moon design and add orange tissue paper on the back to make it a little more terrifying.

Make your own Ring Toss game using dollar tree cones and some paint or find a similar game on Amazon. We love that this ring toss is easy enough for the little ones, but also challenging for teens and grownups. It all depends on where you stand. HALLOWEEN SCAVENGER HUNT
Send trick-or-treaters on a hunt for much more than just sweet eats! Perfect for Halloween party games, this spooky version of a scavenger hunt is easy to play for even the littlest ghouls and boys. Place all of the clue bags in the various locations around the home as indicated by the clues. With the exception of the first clue, which explains the game, the order of the following clues does not matter.

Tie a length of rope between two trees or poles. This Halloween Game is budget-friendly, not much preparation needed, just a few white foam cup, draw eyes and a mouth on each cup with a black marker pen. Arrange the ghost cups into a bowling pin arrangement and grab a ball for a quick game or two have a blast knocking over the ghosts.
It’s quick and easy to make and set up, making it a great boredom buster or Halloween party game for kids.
PUMPKIN DECORATION:
No mess pumpkin painting for kids – a fun Halloween activity that lets kids decorate their own unique ideas like adding some confetti or paint them in their favorite character. While some pumpkin carving ideas can be a bit too tricky for little ones, this and other easy painted pumpkin DIYs are easy enough for even the youngest crafters.
