10 EASY Halloween Crafts for Kids

Halloween is a festival that everyone, young- old love and enjoy going for Trick or Treat. Today I’m sharing a few fun ideas to decorate your home and they are really FUN & EASY to make. These easy Halloween crafts for kids are both fun and completely age-appropriate, No special skills and tools are required and it’s great fun for the entire family.

Get your house ready for Halloween with our CUTEST Kids friendly homemade Halloween decorations. It is a great time for creation and imagination from Ghosts, goblins, pumpkins and more.

GOOGLY EYES HALLOWEEN WREATH This is a Fun Halloween wreath using Ping pong Balls and googly eyes. This is really one of my favorite Halloween craft and especially kids will love to make one.

Supplies You will need:

  • Wreath Frame
  • White crepe streamer to wrap the wreath.
  • Ping pong balls.
  • Googly eyes.
  • Hot glue.
  • Wire (for hanging)

Start wrapping the wreath with white ribbon or crepe streamer and hot glue at both ends. Use floral wire and twist it in the back to make a wreath hanger.

Now, start gluing the ping pong balls onto the wreath. Just keep adding on top of each other until it looks fully covered.

Once you are done adding balls now glue the googly eyes onto the balls. Keep going until the wreath is filled with googly eyes.

And your Googly Eyes wreath is ready to hang. This wreath will always be watching you! Arent, It just looks super CUTE HALLOWEEN DECOR.

HANGING BATS: This is really easy Halloween craft, perfect for adding them for Halloween decor.

Supplies you will need:

  • Black foam paper.
  • Googly eyes.
  • Hot glue
  • String.

You can draw a bat shape in a paper or print out this bat shape and fold in half and then cut out the shape.

Trace the bat shape onto the black foam paper and cut it out. Add googly eyes, now make a hole at the bottom for hanging. Use a string to make a hanging loop for your Hanging bat. Isn’t it so easy make, you can make as many as you want.:)

LIGHT UP GHOSTS: Making Paper cup Light up Ghosts using Foam cups- an easy Halloween craft for kids. They make adorable DIY Halloween decorations. Perfect for toddlers and older kids.

Supplies You will need

  • White foam cups.
  • Black marker.
  • String light/ tealights

Let’s start making cute faces on your cups, once you are done make a hole in the bottom and push these string light bulbs in each cups. IT will form as a garland and hang it for your CUTE HALLOWEEN DECOR.

MASON JARS MUMMY LANTERN These DIY Mummy lanterns using mason jars are perfect for Halloween! You’ll find this mummy craft for kids super easy to make, and it requires very few materials.

Supplies you will need:

  • Old mason jars.
  • White crepe streamer.
  • Googly eyes
  • Black marker.
  • Glue
  • Tealight

Get your jar and start wrapping it with a white crepe streamer. glue at the end now add googly eyes and you can use a black marker for making the mouth. Place battery-operated tealight and light it. You can make some glowing decorations perfect for Halloween.  What a fun and easy craft, right?

GLOWING MASON JAR JACK-O-LANTERN: These mason jar glowing jack-o-lanterns would be a fun craft to do with kids, and they would also make for great little Halloween party favor containers if you filled them with candy.

Supplies you will need:

  • Mason jars (size of your choice)
  • Orange Paint
  • Black marker
  • Tea light.

Paint Your mason jar with orange color. Let the paint dry completely, draw a Jack -o lantern face onto your jar and then place your tea light candle in and light it!. 

These Jack a lantern look great, they take no time at all to make and these also a great way to recycle glass jars.

HALLOWEEN SPIDER: Spiders are always creepy creatures for me but today we are making sweet and friendly Halloween spiders that I don’t mind having around! 

Supplies you will need:

  • Foam ball (a tennis ball will also work)
  • Black yarn
  • Black furry sticks for legs(8)
  • Googly eyes and Glue

Start wrapping your foam ball with black yarn until the ball is fully covered. Now attach Furry sticks for legs. You should have 8 legs for your Spider.

Add googly eyes and now give your spider a friendly smile that you can use a small piece of an orange or purple furry stick.

And your Friendly Halloween Spider is ready for Halloween. This spider looks sweeter than scary?

HALLOWEEN NO CARVE PUMPKIN DECOR: For a quick Halloween pumpkin decoration this easy, no-carve tutorial requires just a few materials, and it takes much less time than stenciling. This one-hour craft is a perfect mess-free decoration that can be used to brighten any Halloween decorations.

Supplies you will need:

  • Pumpkin ( We used Dollar store carvable pumpkins)
  • White paint and sponge.
  • Black paint Marker or paint.

Turn any Dollar Store Pumpkins into a Beautiful centerpiece. The first thing we did was paint the pumpkins with white paint and let it dry. It is a great kids project as well.

Use Black paint pen and mark BOO or TRICK or TREAT Sign onto your Pumpkins. These would be such a great centerpiece for any Halloween Decor!

LOLLIPOP GHOSTS & LOLLIPOP JACK a LANTERN: A Fun Treat for your Trick or Treaters. These little guys really don’t need much instruction. Simply use a white napkin or tissue and then wrap your pops! Tie a cute little ribbon or a piece of yarn to secure it, add some wiggly eyes and you’re good to go! Enjoy.
